I have found it very difficult to source Venisen meat to replace stocks as it is now summer.
The Deer move further up into the hills and to be honest it is too damn hot for the mucky job of butchering.
That said, I have managed to barter a consult for a cut of meat that was specially hung for two weeks in the coolroom and professionally butchered. It seems a shame to turn this into jerky but that is what has happened .... ssshhh don't tell my supplier!
So for those trainers who like to snack and train, this is the batch for you! Very limited supply, I doubt I will get this opportunity again.
